PUMPKIN CHAI LATTE
Do you want to recreate a fall classic at home? We suggest our pumpkin chai latte, just as good hot as cold!
Ingredients
- 375 mL (1 ½ cups) water
- 1 bag of chai infusion or chai rooibos
- 375 mL (1 ½ cups) milk or vegetable drink
- 125 mL (½ cup) pumpkin puree
- 1 tsp (5 mL) vanilla extract
- 1 cinnamon stick
- a pinch or two of cardamom (to taste)
Preparation
- In a medium saucepan, bring water to a boil.
- Put the tea bag in the water, lower the heat and let it steep for 2 minutes.
- Add all the other ingredients and simmer on low heat for 10 minutes.
- Remove the tea bag and cinnamon stick and serve the chai latte in your favorite cups.
Note: You can refrigerate the pumpkin chai latte and serve it later cold or hot. This recipe will keep for 3 days in the fridge!
