PUMPKIN CHAI LATTE

Do you want to recreate a fall classic at home? We suggest our pumpkin chai latte, just as good hot as cold!

Ingredients

  • 375 mL (1 ½ cups) water
  • 1 bag of chai infusion or chai rooibos
  • 375 mL (1 ½ cups) milk or vegetable drink
  • 125 mL (½ cup) pumpkin puree
  • 1 tsp (5 mL) vanilla extract
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • a pinch or two of cardamom (to taste)
     

Preparation

  1. In a medium saucepan, bring water to a boil.
  2. Put the tea bag in the water, lower the heat and let it steep for 2 minutes.
  3. Add all the other ingredients and simmer on low heat for 10 minutes.
  4. Remove the tea bag and cinnamon stick and serve the chai latte in your favorite cups. 

 

Note: You can refrigerate the pumpkin chai latte and serve it later cold or hot. This recipe will keep for 3 days in the fridge!
