Pear and chocolate energy bites
For chocolate lovers, here is a recipe of energy balls that will make you happy! You'll taste the subtle flavour of pear.
Ingredients
- 375 mL (1½ cups) quick-cooking rolled oats
- 125 mL (½ cup) pear compote
- 60 mL (¼ cup) flax seeds
- 60 mL (¼ cup) honey
- 60 mL (¼ cup) chocolate chips
- 15 mL (1 tbsp.) cocoa powder
Preparation
- In a bowl, mix all the ingredients.
- Shape the energy bites with your hands by pressing the mixture together and then rolling it between your palms.
- Place the energy bites in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 4 hours or overnight.
