Golden beverage
If you're looking for a delicious hot drink that's different from hot chocolate, we've got the FitSpirit version of golden milk for you!
Ingredients
- 250 ml (1 cup) milk or plant-based beverage
- 1 ml (¼ tsp.) ground turmeric
- 1 ml (¼ tsp.) ground cinnamon
- 1 ml (¼ tsp.) ground ginger
- A pinch of cardamom
- A pinch of black pepper
- 30 ml (1 tbsp.) honey or maple syrup
Preparation
- Combine all ingredients in a small saucepan.
- Heat the mixture, stirring continuously with a whisk, for about 5 minutes. Be careful not to bring the liquid to a boil, as this could cause a mess!
- Serve the drink in your favorite mug!
You can refrigerate this drink and serve it later, hot or cold. This recipe can be stored in the fridge for up to 3 days!
