Golden beverage

If you're looking for a delicious hot drink that's different from hot chocolate, we've got the FitSpirit version of golden milk for you!

Ingredients 

  • 250 ml (1 cup) milk or plant-based beverage
  • 1 ml (¼ tsp.) ground turmeric
  • 1 ml (¼ tsp.) ground cinnamon
  • 1 ml (¼ tsp.) ground ginger
  • A pinch of cardamom
  • A pinch of black pepper
  • 30 ml (1 tbsp.) honey or maple syrup

Preparation 

  1. Combine all ingredients in a small saucepan.
  2. Heat the mixture, stirring continuously with a whisk, for about 5 minutes. Be careful not to bring the liquid to a boil, as this could cause a mess! 
  3. Serve the drink in your favorite mug!


You can refrigerate this drink and serve it later, hot or cold. This recipe can be stored in the fridge for up to 3 days!
