APPLE-CINNAMON WINTER HYDRATION DRINK
When it's cold, we tend to feel less thirsty. Here's a recipe for a hot beverage to put in an insulated bottle for your outdoor activities when the weather is cooler!
Ingredients
- 250 ml apple juice
- 250 ml water
- 10 ml maple syrup
- A pinch of salt
- 1 cinnamon stick
Preparation
- Mix all ingredients in a pot and bring to a boil.
- Let stand for about 5 minutes.
- Remove the cinnamon stick and pour into a thermos flask.
For optimal hydration, drink 1 to 2 sips every 10 to 15 minutes.
