FitSpirit Projects

FitSpirit is actively working to reach the maximum number of teens and make a real difference in their lives! Keep reading to discover all the projects that FitSpirit is developing.

FitSpirit activities operate in a context where inclusion is encouraged regardless of a young person’s abilities, weight, level of physical fitness, ethnic or religious background, functional limitations, gender identity or sexual orientation.

Inclusive FitSpirit

While respecting the philosophy upon which the FitSpirit approach is founded, school leaders can welcome into their team all the students who are interested in joining! And to make this even clearer, we’ve created a logo to promote the team and its inclusive programming.

FitSpirit and Indigenous communities

FitSpirit wishes to ensure that its approach best meets the needs of the various clienteles it serves, including teens from Indigenous communities.

Thanks to our partner Manulife, who is committed to developing healthy lifestyles for the well-being and health of everyone. Through their support, we are able to continue offering the FitSpirit approach to Indigenous communities.

Since 2022, close to 375 Indigenous teenage girls have participated in FitSpirit physical activities.

FitSpirit presents various teen and active women role models with the intention of allowing teenage girls to see people like them taking pleasure in being active, so that they, too, can imagine themselves adopting an active lifestyle.
