On May 20 at 7:45 a.m., after weeks of preparation, perseverance, and courage, Emmanuelle-Salambo Deguara reached the summit of Mount Everest!
But her journey doesn’t end there. Now comes the next challenge, driven by a deep desire to reach another summit: raising $100,000 for FitSpirit.
Every dollar raised is a meaningful contribution toward inspiring girls to reach their own summit through physical activity.
For the 2026 edition, FitSpirit is partnering with the Grand Duke Trail to share the joy of being active and to encourage participants to discover trail running.
On October 24 and 25, come run on the beautiful trails of Jacques-Cartier National Park while raising funds for FitSpirit. Members of FitSpirit’s Young Philanthropists Committee have even formed a team!

Julie and Roxanne, two passionate and committed women, are embarking on an extraordinary challenge: crossing the Moroccan desert on foot as part of the Rose Trip Morocco, taking place from October 22 to 27, 2026.
Through this expedition, they aim to inspire, raise awareness, and mobilize, while also raising funds for FitSpirit. Every step in the sand will be a step toward greater equality, greater confidence, and greater opportunities for girls.

From November 9 to 14, 2025, Karyne, Maxine, and Sim took on an all-female orienteering challenge in the Moroccan desert. Their goal: to inspire girls to stay active, no matter their age, and to share their passion for movement! This adventure also allowed them to raise funds and present a generous $1,000 donation to FitSpirit in support of its mission.
