Do you want to recreate a fall classic at home? We suggest our pumpkin chai latte, just as good hot as cold!
375 mL (1 ½ cups) water
1 bag of chai infusion or chai rooibos
375 mL (1 ½ cups) milk or vegetable drink
125 mL (½ cup) pumpkin puree
1 tsp (5 mL) vanilla extract
1 cinnamon stick
a pinch or two of cardamom (to taste)
In a medium saucepan, bring water to a boil.
Put the tea bag in the water, lower the heat and let it steep for 2 minutes.
Add all the other ingredients and simmer on low heat for 10 minutes.
Remove the tea bag and cinnamon stick and serve the chai latte in your favorite cups.
Note: You can refrigerate the pumpkin chai latte and serve it later cold or hot. This recipe will keep for 3 days in the fridge!
