250 ml (1 cup) milk or plant-based beverage
1 ml (¼ tsp.) ground turmeric
1 ml (¼ tsp.) ground cinnamon
1 ml (¼ tsp.) ground ginger
A pinch of cardamom
A pinch of black pepper
30 ml (1 tbsp.) honey or maple syrup
Combine all ingredients in a small saucepan.
Heat the mixture, stirring continuously with a whisk, for about 5 minutes. Be careful not to bring the liquid to a boil, as this could cause a mess!
Serve the drink in your favorite mug!
You can refrigerate this drink and serve it later, hot or cold. This recipe can be stored in the fridge for up to 3 days!
