Apple-cinnamon winter hydration drink

When it's cold, we tend to feel less thirsty. Here's a recipe for a hot beverage to put in an insulated bottle for your outdoor activities when the weather is cooler!

Ingredients :
  • 250 ml apple juice

  • 250 ml water

  • 10 ml maple syrup

  • A pinch of salt

  • 1 cinnamon stick

Directives :
  1. Mix all ingredients in a pot and bring to a boil.

  2. Let stand for about 5 minutes.

  3. Remove the cinnamon stick and pour into a thermos flask.

 

For optimal hydration, drink 1 to 2 sips every 10 to 15 minutes.
