FitSpirit announces the arrival of its Executive Director

FitSpirit is pleased to announce the nomination of Julie Meloche as Executive Director.

In this new role, Julie, in collaboration with the President and Founder, will play a central role in the development and execution of FitSpirit’s operations to achieve the organisation’s strategic objectives.

With a Bachelor of Social Work and Community Development and an Executive MBA specialized in Social Enterprise Leadership, Julie has a wealth of knowledge in management, coaching, development and innovation in both the community and private sectors. She is a dedicated professional and leader with close to 40 years of experience, including over 14 years at Avenir d'enfants as a Human Resources Manager, Partnership Director, Secretary General, and finally, Executive Director. Over the course of her career, Julie has also held several key consulting and management positions with companies such as Rôtisseries St-Hubert, Groupe TVA, Groupe CRÉACOR, Ubisoft and the Lucie et André Chagnon Foundation. Most recently, Julie was the Director of Educational Services and National Partnerships at the Association québécoise des centres de la petite enfance.

An avid sportsperson and horseback riding enthusiast, Julie is also highly involved in her community, and has been a member of several boards of directors since 2009.

We have no doubt that Julie’s keen interest in organizations invested in a cause and her in-depth knowledge of the management and development of partnerships will be vital assets for FitSpirit moving forward.
